Dan Flynn is a businessman and rancher from Van, Texas, who has been since 2003 a Republican member of the Texas House of Representatives for District 2.
It is an honor to serve our East Texas communities. I have worked hard every day to be your conservative voice. Year after year I have voted for conservative balanced budgets that kept spending under control while investing resources in priorities like border security ($800 million). I have voted for major property tax cuts, reductions in the business franchise tax, and the elimination of more than a dozen occupational taxes.
During the last special session, I signed on to all 20 of Governor Greg Abbott’s priorities, including property tax reform. I have been a voice for the unborn, and know that being pro-life is about recognizing the dignity of every life, from conception until natural death.
I know that decisions that affect you and your family are best made by you and your family, not government. And I know Texas is the best place to find a job and do business because we believe in limited government, and unlimited freedom. I would be honored to have your vote again in the March 6 Republican Primary.
I want to fight for faith, family and freedom for two more years.
